Information Entered by User. Certain pages on the website allow users to register to purchase identity theft-related products and services, receive content and otherwise conduct various activities on the website. When users register, MY SAFE IDENTITY may ask them for certain unique personal information. If you are purchasing identity theft services and the like, MY SAFE IDENTITY will request personal information, including financial information to complete payment in connection with enrollment.
Finally, you may be asked to disclose personal information to us so that we can provide assistance and information to you in connection with technical assistance and other issues related to the website.
Additional Details Regarding MY SAFE IDENTITY’s Information Collection
Information about MY SAFE IDENTITY subscribers and their website usage is maintained in a secure environment. This information is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. MY SAFE IDENTITY does not disclose any information about any subscriber’s usage of the website or MY SAFE IDENTITY’S identity theft recovery services, except to enforce the terms of our subscriber agreements or as required by law. MY SAFE IDENTITY also may also provide summary statistics about users’ membership for services, website usage patterns and related site information to third parties. These statistics would not include personal identification information, but would only be used to provide new product and service offerings to MY SAFE IDENTITY customers.
MY SAFE IDENTITY uses technical security measures to prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under MY SAFE IDENTITY’S control. SHA2 encryption for PCI compliance is utilized and as such credit card data and passwords are never about to be seen unencrypted. All MY SAFE IDENTITY’S websites exceed the PCI security standards and are scanned for vulnerabilities every 24 hours.
Third Party Access to Information
MY SAFE IDENTITY will share your personal data only (i) as required by law or as needed in connection with the transfer of MY SAFE IDENTITY’S business assets (to comport with U.S. law, MY SAFE IDENTITY does not share information with any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes); (ii) with other MY SAFE IDENTITY businesses, if any, and (iii) with agents and third party product and service providers who use subscribers’ information on MY SAFE IDENTITY’S behalf, as in the event that a third party entity provides identity theft protection services for MY SAFE IDENTITY subscribers.

Although the MY SAFE IDENTITY website does not currently contain links to sites maintained by companies that are unaffiliated to MY SAFE IDENTITY, the potential exists that such links may be present in the future, from time to time. In such event, MY SAFE IDENTITY will not be responsible for the privacy policies and/or procedures or the content of such third party websites.
YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE THAT THE SERVICES SHALL NOT INCLUDE THE PLACING OF FRAUD ALERTS WITH ANY CONSUMER CREDIT REPORTING AGENCIES. YOU ALSO UNDERSTAND AND AGREE, THOUGH IT IS NOT LIKELY, THAT THERE MAY BE A DELAY OF SEVERAL DAYS BETWEEN THE TIME IN WHICH YOU SUBSCRIBE FOR SERVICES UNTIL THE SERVICES ARE ACTUALLY ACTIVATED. MY SAFE IDENTITY reserves the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Services at any time, with or without notice or liability to you; provided, however that MY SAFE IDENTITY shall provide a partial reimbursement for any fees paid in connection with the Services through the date that such Services were discontinued. MY SAFE IDENTITY does not provide partial reimbursement of any fees when a membership is terminated.
If you are using an activation code in connection with your Membership, you are restricted to a one-time use of such activation code. Any subsequent use of the activation code by you, your family members or any other individuals will result in immediate termination of any associated Services without notice.
Private Information Authorization
You understand and agree that you are providing MY SAFE IDENTITY with your “written instructions” in accordance with the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and you are authorizing MY SAFE IDENTITY to obtain personal information on your behalf and, as the case may be, your family members’ behalves, to the extent that such family members have been included in the Membership (including minor children) for the purpose of providing the Services, including, as applicable to your Membership and any future Services you may order, identity theft resolution, recovery and restoration services.
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (“FCRA”) requires each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies — Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion — to provide you with a free copy of your credit report, at your request, once every 12 months. The FCRA promotes the accuracy and privacy of information in the files of the nation’s consumer reporting companies. The Federal Trade Commission, the nation’s consumer protection agency, enforces the FCRA with respect to consumer reporting companies. Failure to comply with the FCRA can result in state, federal and private enforcement actions or lawsuits. In addition, any person who knowingly and willfully obtains a consumer credit report or disclosure under false pretenses may face criminal prosecution.
The FCRA also permits you to dispute inaccurate information in your credit report without charge. ACCURATE INFORMATION CANNOT BE CHANGED. You do not have to purchase the Services in order to dispute inaccurate or incomplete information in your credit file, or to receive a copy of your consumer credit report.
YOU AND MY SAFE IDENTITY HAVE ENTERED INTO THESE TERMS, WHETHER ELECTRONICALLY, BY RECORDED VOICE AUTHORIZATION, OR VIA PHYSICAL COPY, INTENDING TO BE BOUND BY YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS. IN THE FUTURE, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND TO THESE TERMS, AND MODIFICATIONS HERETO, BY CONTINUING TO USE OUR SERVICES AFTER SUCH MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN POSTED TO THE WEBSITE OR SENT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU HAVE PROVIDED. ANY OTHER COMMUNICATIONS, INCLUDING BILLING, PAYMENT, AND/OR DISCLOSURES WILL BE MADE VIA THE EMAIL ADDRESS ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ACCOUNT OR BE POSTED TO THE WEBSITE.
